Why Amazon.com?

We are always looking for new sources of revenue to support ERF activities related to estuarine and coastal research, managements and education - without asking you for more money. This includes the expenses related to maintaining the ERF web site.

Amazon.com, the leading on-line bookseller, has created a program that will help support ERF at no additional cost to ERF members. When you follow hyperlinks from the ERF web site to Amazon.com and buy a book, Amazon.com supports ERF with 5% of the cost of the book - while charging you nothing more. Amazon.com wins, you get the book you want, and ERF and coastal science get a boost.

Without going too far in support of Amazon.com, we feel comfortable saying that Amazon has shown a high level of customer support, is a well designed web bookstore, and appears to carry many of the technical titles that ERF members want and need.
