AIBS president Richard O'Grady has an excellent blog entry on both the importance and logistics for scientists to vote in the upcoming election. You can call or apply on line for rates and availability of child care in your hotel. They do not have a drop-in location. Newport Babysitting is fully incorporated, sitters are employees and undergo background checks and are CPR and First Aid certified. Their general fees include a $50 booking fee per family per day and $10 per hour for the sitter.
